These prices are purely a rough guide, there are many different factors at play like foliage, conditions of the colorbond, size of job. It’s always best for us to let us come down and look. Or, you could even send us some pictures and we can go from there. The most common Colorbond Fence panel is 2.4 metres wide, but there are variations out there.

The ground will be protected with cloth drop sheets. Surrounding, connecting walls will be masked up with tape and paper. And, if needed, a metal shield will be used against surfaces we cant mask.

Unfortunately, yes. From BlueScopes website. “It’s important to note that overpainting COLORBOND® steel will void any warranties issued by BlueScope Steel. Should, for any reason, overpainting be undertaken on behalf of and under instruction from BlueScope Steel, then a future warranty (if any) position will be negotiated between the customer and BlueScope Steel.”

This is something to think about before proceeding with a repaint. That being said, it’s often old fences that we bring back to life over brand new fences so often that doesn’t matter anyway.


A high quality UV-resistant acrylic exterior paint. We primarily use Dulux and Taubmans paints — both being on the premium end of the price scale, but for good reason. They offer superior colour retention, durability, and weather resistance, meaning your exterior stays fresher for longer and holds up best against the Gold Coast sun.

Nope, pre painted fences are ready to be painted over. Unless of course the paint is oil based, but colorbond is only manufactured with water based paints. To put it short, we’re good to go!

Spraying will achieve the best finish and will eliminate roll lines that might be seen at certain angles. Secondly, manually painting would take far to long, there is just too many small nooks and crannies to get into.
